Winkler and JB-Lighting set new standards in the world of lighting technology
At the Paris Motor Show, the Winkler Multi Media Events Group was the first company from the event management industry to present an LED floodlight capable of replacing conventional 1200W HMI floodlights
With this innovation, Winkler has set new standards in lighting technology and environmental protection. Not only do the new LED floodlights save energy; they also prevent heat from building up to the usual high degree. Unlike conventional floodlights – the manufacture of which requires not only mercury but also a high level of energy and resources – LED floodlights do not need to be replaced on a regular basis. These innovative LEDs have a long life span, and each contain two day white chips and two warm white chips. The colour temperature than thus be regulated in an infinitely variable manner over a wide range (2800K to 8800K), according to the lighting mood desired. Another positive side effect for the environment – in future, one floodlight will replace three or four conventional floodlights. Thanks to their variable colour temperature, these LED floodlights can be implemented in many ways – as lighting for trade fairs, as theatre lights or even for television.
