ISO 20121 is the international standard for sustainable event management. It looks beyond environmental sustainability to include social and economic aspects as well. At its core is a management system designed to identify impacts, review processes and drive continuous improvement.
For us, this means that sustainability is not limited to individual projects or measures. It extends from procurement and logistics to the use of equipment and resources, internal processes, and the planning and delivery of our events.

Four Years of Practice
A lot has evolved since our initial certification in December 2021. We have refined processes, questioned how resources are used and integrated sustainability criteria more firmly into our day-to-day decisions.
The aim is not to collect as many green check marks as possible for every event. It is about focusing on the areas where we can actually make a difference: using equipment responsibly and for as long as possible, optimising transport and processes, using resources consciously and developing solutions that work both environmentally and economically.
In an industry where equipment is constantly on the move, technology is in operation and every project requires new planning, there are plenty of areas where improvements can be made. And therefore plenty of potential to do things better.

Recertified in 2025
In autumn 2025, our sustainability management system was reassessed and the certification successfully renewed. The current certificate is valid until October 2028.
For us, the recertification is above all confirmation that the system introduced in 2021 works and has continued to evolve over the past years.
At the same time, sustainability remains an ongoing task. Technologies change, requirements evolve, and our own processes continue to move forward.
