Winkler Livecom Becomes Part of the IDS Group

31 March 2026

Inno Digital Services AG (IDS) is expanding its group of companies with the addition of Winkler Livecom AG and its subsidiaries Winkler Systems AG and Mesol AG. The Winkler Group employs around 120 people, all of whom will become part of the IDS Group.

With this step, the IDS Group is further strengthening its position in the Swiss market and creating Switzerland’s largest network for professional event and media technology (ProAV). The foundation for this is the combination of several established companies from the ProAV and live communication industry under the umbrella of IDS.

Strengthening Event Expertise within the Group

Following the merger of auviso and Kilchenmann in 2024, the integration of Winkler Livecom marks the next step in the IDS Group’s buy-and-build strategy. Together with the existing auviso and Kilchenmann brands, the Group is now creating a leading competence centre for events and live productions, complementing its already leading nationwide network for systems technology. This will also enable the Group to deliver event projects throughout Europe in the future.

“With Winkler Livecom, we are gaining a company with a strong event DNA, close ties to the market and well-established partnerships,” says Urs Wälchli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IDS Group. “Christian Künzli also brings extensive industry experience to the IDS Group’s Board of Directors and will actively support the implementation of our future strategy.”

Clear Roles within the IDS Group

Winkler Livecom AG will take the lead within the IDS Group’s Events business segment. Winkler Systems AG will remain an independent company, further strengthening the Group’s expertise in system integration and AV installation solutions. Mesol AG will also remain independent and continue to build on its leading position in media technology for the hospitality sector in the Zurich market region.

“The merger with the IDS Group gives us a strong long-term perspective,” says Christian Künzli, CEO of Winkler Livecom. “It enables us to further strengthen our market position while benefiting from the resources and network of the Group.”

All three companies complement the Group’s portfolio across its 360° business areas and will continue to operate in the market under their existing company names. For customers, the familiar contacts will remain unchanged.
